(Comment: Edna had and raised seven chilldren. She never married, so the biological fathers of her children is specualtive. But I have seen the following beliefs by researchers: James Arthur Wesrley, Underwood, Hiram Sweeny, Watt, (and Edward Hickman, per Mary's death record).
Essie and Jessie's birth was reported by Edna's mother Rebecca. None of the other births were recorded. Mildred, Harley and Mary all had to obtain delayed birth records.) She died on 31 January 1970 at Sisterville, Tyler Co, WV., at age 87.
