     George Heming was born on 2 May 1789 at Baltimore Co, MD.. He was the son of William Hemming and Sisson Stevens. He married Rebecca Hickman, daughter of Abraham Hickman and Magdalena Grable, circa 1811 at Washington Co, PA.. He died on 16 July 1864 at Seneca Co, OH., at age 75.

     Jacob Lostater married Salome "Sally" Hickman, daughter of Abraham Hickman and Magdalena Grable, circa 1798.²

Part of a lengthy letter dated September 23rd., 1884, written by Dr. Henry MILLER who was a grandson of Jonathan MILLER and Mary HICKMAN.
"Jonathan Miller, my paternal grandfather, who descended from German parentage, was born at or near Funkstown, Washington County, Maryland, probably in the year 1759, or possibly in 1760. In his early boyhood his parents removed to Fayette Co., Pennsylvania, where he grew to manhood, married Mary Hickman, (his cousin) who was also born of German parentage, at Funkstown, Maryland, her family also having removed to Fayette County, Pennsylvania, in her childhood. Their marriage was probably in the year 1780 or 1781. From this marriage they reared a numerous family on sons and daughters, six of whom grew to manhood and womanhood, and all married and nearly all lived to old age."²

     Lucy H. Lostater was born on 29 April 1800 at Washington Co, PA.. She was the daughter of Jacob Lostater and Salome "Sally" Hickman. She married George Washington Dolman on 1 December 1818 at Washington Co, PA; by Squire Thomas Carson. She lived in 1844 at Zanesville, Muskingum Co, OH.. She died on 2 September 1882 at Brunswick, Chariton Co, MO., at age 82.

     George Washington Dolman was born on 17 September 1794 at PA. He married Lucy H. Lostater, daughter of Jacob Lostater and Salome "Sally" Hickman, on 1 December 1818 at Washington Co, PA; by Squire Thomas Carson. He died on 17 April 1884 at Brunswick, Chariton Co, MO., at age 89.
