James Keith in Col. Paul A. Sargent's Mass. Line, and participated in the Battle of Harlem Heights; re-enlisted Nov. 2, 1779, and served as a Pvt. in Capt. James Walker'sCo., Col. Samuel Denny's Regt., until his discharge Nov. 23, 1779. He married Lydia Heywood, daughter of Oliver Heywood and Anne Taylor, on 19 October 1780 at Wilton, NH.. He moved to Norridgewock, ME. in 1786. He died on 4 March 1838 at Norridgewock, ME., at age 85.

     Philip McIntyre was born at Scotland. He was one of the Scottish Highlanders defeated by Oliver Cromwell's Army at the Battle of Dunbar in September 3, 1650. Philip was deported with other Scottish prisoners to the Massachusettes Colony on the ship Unity, which set sail Nov. 11, 1650. After serving seven years, to "work out the expense of his passage and substenance," Philip settled in the noreastern part of Reading, MA.
