     Glenn Whipkey Phillips was born on 24 April 1905 at Higbee, Greene Co, PA.. He was the son of George Austin Phillips and Clara E. Whipkey. He was a teacher and football coach at Richhill Twp High School, Greene Co, PA.. He married Mary Ruth Cree, daughter of Omie Frances Cree and Rosa Belle Zimmerman, on 13 July 1940. He was a construction supervisor for the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1970. He had no children. He died on 13 September 1994 at Waynesburg, Greene Co, PA., at age 89.
