     Marvin Baer was born on 4 August 1878 at Whiteley Twp, Greene Co, PA.. He was the son of Baker Martin Baer and Susanna "Sude"Catherine Lemley. He married Dora Alma Zimmerman on 5 July 1905 at Cumberland, MD.. He was a painter. He died on 7 March 1947 at Kirby, PA., at age 68.¹⁰ He was killed by a hit and run driver.
