"I was born in the State of Pennsylvania, York County - on the 5th day of July in the year Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight where I lived till October 1804 when my Father Removed to the Western part of Pennsylvania and settled in Fayette County where he lived till the year1810 in the later end of the year- when he Removed to Green County where he lived till the spring of the year 1814 When he removed to Monongalia County State of Viriginia.³ " He married Margaret Kackley on 15 May 1825. He married Nancy Murphy on 25 June 1840. He married Cassandra Fletcher on 6 June 1852. He died on 14 April 1858 at Hampshire Co, VA., at age 59.
