This indenture made the 9th day of February one thousand eight hundred and nineteen between Joseph Mason, high Sheriff of Breckenridge County and State of Kentuky by John Delavan, his deputy sheriff, of the one part and Adam Bruner, Senior of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Whereas a writ of Terrefacias date January 18, 1819, issued from Breckenridge County Circuit Court directed to Sheriff of Breckenridge County, commanding him that of the estate of Abraham Hickman, Jonathan Hickman, Solomon Hickman, John Crabb and Sally, his wife, late Sally Hickman, Solomon Miller and Elizabeth, his wife, late Elizabeth Hickman, Jonathan Miller and Mary, his wife, late Mary Hickman and Daniel Arnold and Rebecca, his wife, late Rebecca Hickman heirs and legal representatives of Charles Hickman, dec'd which descended to others from the estate of their their said deceased Father, Charles Hickman, should cause to be made the sum of $250.00 with interest thereon to be calculated at the rate of 5 pct. per annum from July 4, 1795, until paid and $24.31 which Adam Bruner, Sr. and Elizabeth, his wife, late Elizabeth Rice, Balsar Claycomb and Catherine, his wife, late Catherine Rice, Thomas Dowell and ann, late ann Cooms, daughter of Polly Cooms who was one of the children of Nicholas Rice, deceased, Henry Dean and Sally, his wife, late Sally Rice, Jacob Wise and Nancy, his wife, late Nancy Rice, Jacob Rice, John Peckenpaugh and Christene, his wife, late Christena Rice, Isaac edwards and Rachel, his wife, late Rachel Rice, Jonathan Rice and Nicholas Cooms, a full brother of the above named Ann Dowell, heirs and legal representatives of Nicholas Rice, deceased, lately in said Breckenridge circuit Court recovered against them as well for their damages which they sustained by reason of the said Charles Hickman failing to keep a certain covenant to convey certain lands to the above Nicholas Rice, now deceased, as for their costs by them about their suit on this behalf expended _____ and which writ of execution was delivered into the hands of the said Sheriff of Breckenridge on the 18th day of January.
